End of the Bout and Awards Ceremony

End of the Bout

After the bout, the competitors bow again following the official protocol.

1. The competitors bow toward the official front of the competition area: Shomen ni Rei.
   
   


2. The competitors bow to the referee: Shushin ni Rei.
   
   


3. The competitors bow to each other at the command: Otagai ni Rei.
   
   


4. Finally, the competitors shake hands at the end of the bout and leave the tatami.
   

Awards Ceremony

• The first-place competitor in each division and category will receive a trophy and diploma.
• The second- and third-place competitors in each division and category will receive a medal and diploma.
