End of Combat

At the end of the match, competitors must once again follow the bowing and exit protocol for the combat area.

  1. Shomen ni Rei

    Competitors bow toward the official front at the command Shomen ni Rei.

  2. Sushin ni Rei

    Competitors bow toward the center referee at the command Sushin ni Rei.

  3. Otagai ni Rei

    Competitors face each other and bow at the command Otagai ni Rei.

  4. Akushu

    Finally, competitors shake hands at the end of the match (akushu) and leave the tatami in an orderly manner.

Awards

First place

The first place of each division and category will be awarded a trophy and a diploma.

Second and third place

Second and third place of each division and category will be awarded a medal and a diploma.
